Carbon Black System is looking to change the wheelchair game by using the same technology used for building Formula 1 cars. It's full carbon fibre monocoque construction makes it efficient, smooth, strong and lightweight, coming in at about 12lbs. including wheels and tires. The company began as a Kickstarter, and for a while the official Carbon Black website was under construction. We've been patiently awaiting their launch and now the Carbon Black wheelchair is finally available for pre-order. Not only does this look bad ass, but hopefully it'll make the lives of those who rely on the use of a wheelchair a little easier.
