Israel based architect and designer, Shirley Gelber Golan, hand makes minimalist ceramic home goods. She definitely creates some must have pieces for the B.A.B. household. On her work:

"My work attempts to be honest and with a natural feel to it. The emphasis on the tactility of clay as a material is achieved by leaving outer surfaces un-glazed thus preserving some of the natural coarseness of the clay...The shapes are basic, and achieved through a reductive process.
They are intentionally NOT PERFECT, handmade and show the marks of this process
They are meant to."
